Client: Department of Training and Industrial Relations (DTIR), Queensland Government, in conjunction with Q-TEL and the government’s Information Industry Bureau (IIB) Timeframe: 1995-1996 Description of Service JP Consulting competitively won four of the six mobile telecommunications trial projects in the government program. The projects entailed project design, establishment, management and evaluation. Attached below is the public version of the report for one of the projects written by Jeff Parker, which demonstrates his abilities in program design, management and evaluation, in an area that, at the time, was considered to be fairly innovative, i.e. mobile telecommunications. Outcomes: The reports were accepted, and when considered with the evaluations of the other projects, stimulated investment across the government in mobile telecommunications solutions.
