Client: UnitingCare Health (UCH). UCH is a large private acute care services provider. It is a business unit of UnitingCare Queensland (UCQ), and includes The Wesley and the Saint Andrews War Memorial hospitals in Brisbane and others in the Sunshine Coast and Hervey Bay. Timeframe: 2012 Description of Service: The newly appointed CIO requested that Jeff Parker review UCH’s developing approach to implementing the Studer model and ISO9001 and provide advice on goals and strategies from an ICT perspective that would support UCH in the organisational implementation. Outcomes: A report was provided that assisted the CIO achieve their objective.
