Client: NSW Health Pathology Timeframe: 2014 Description of Service With the appointment of a new CIO for NSW Health Pathology who had little health IT experience, the organisation had the need for the appointee to receive expert advice and support in the early stages if their tenure. Roger Hewitt, a specialist in pathology IT (and past CIO), was engaged to work alongside the CIO to share knowledge and experience, and to assist in areas such as strategies, plans, stakeholder engagement, service and support models, eHealth and integration, and the particular nuances in pathology IT. Outcomes: The CIO appreciated Roger’s advice and support and was able to execute his role with more confidence.
